I think he demands the black and white because he knows he could be with you forever
it’s okay to keep going knowing you may not have a future if you’re on the same page… but if you both know you’re not then what’s the point of continuing?hurt now or hurt worse later
if neither of yuo thought you would end up together you could stay together out of laziness and it would be okay
but once it’s been acknowledged that one of you want something the other doesn’t it’s hard to ignore
and he won’t invest more and let you in more and move forward because there’s nothing to move forward toward
